Was anyone at the tournament? I was surprised to see Elk River not in the final. How did they lose? 0-5, thats almost hard to believe. How bout the 3rd place game and championship game?

According to the Edina website. . .

Third Place Game:
Elk River 6
Lakeville South 1

What happened in the Edina/Wayzata game? It looked like Wayzata
rolled through it's pool play? Anyone at the game?

Nice try Buttend, but you are incorrect!!!!!

I am not a parent from LVN.
WOW..."inthenet" you need to relax. The last time I looked, LVS is in the top 10. A few people must agree with that to put them there. Where is your team? I hope higher!

As did Edina in their pool. Looks like the two best teams met in the finals and one goal decided it. These teams played a 4-4 tie early in the season and look like the class in the State right now.

18 - 1 is a big victory.

Have you played any tough teams? It looks like Bemidji, ranked # 18 is about the best team you have played, and you beat them 5-4 (ot) and 5-3.

Congrats on the big win, just don't bruise your back patting it too hard until you play (and beat) a few teams in the top 10.

Before the Roseau tourney Edina is stopping at EGF's barn for a scrimmage on 1/21.

I am not patting anybody on the back. Not my style.

I am wondering where Warroad is at?

It seems like every year they are not very strong in PeeWees and Bantams, and then high school comes around and.............well it's a different story.

Anyway, as someone has mentioned, Edina will be in EGF soon, and we will see how that goes. Also, they are in a good tournament next week in Roseau.

What is going on with Stillwater, early on this year they looked to be a top contender, lately they have been stumbling quite a bit, as they also took quite a pounding at Edina Tourney.

Nice to see a home team that doesn't set up a patsy pool for themselves.

With such a strong field I don't think it's possible for them to set up a patsy poo. However, I would aruge that the top teams in no particular order are Edina, Fire, Wayzata, EP, Elk River, none of which are in their pool.
