For a long time now I've been trying to figure out exactly what people are saying with missed commas and other punctuation and many misspelled words. So I thought if it wasn't the only thing I was commenting on, since I was actually commenting on the discussion at hand also, I'd comment on it while someone was doing a horrible job of putting me down.

You misspelled the same word at least 6 times through the history of this subject matter. As in many cases, you missed the point.

It is a long way from "r" to "n" on the keyboard. With you typing "hurt" so many times instead of hunt, my Idiot's Book of Psychology tells me you have a deep-seeded problem that is hurting (or in this case maybe it should be hunting) you badly. Maybe something went very wrong on your first outing into the woods as a young boy and you're still hurting (since you're not hunting) from it.

I haven't reversed anything. In the start of this thread I was playing devil's advocate some, but that doesn't mean that's my opinion. Or do you not know what that is?

tomASS, I don't know about you, but when people who know how to type do so, they don't think about the letters, they just think the words and their fingers type it. Every so often you type the wrong word. But you knew what I meant, just as I try to figure out what many mean when they type things that aren't even words or sentences.

I don't think HS (shown here) has ever been to the woods. Too much ignorance.

See! Thank you. You just reinforced my point even more!

\:D/ \:D/ =D> =D>

very deep seeded ......first step is admitting you have a problem. Second step is getting off this "Bored" and then, with professional help, maybe you can confront your Uncle some day.

If you're going to put me down for either adding an 's' or putting the wrong pronoun (you can pick) at least punctuate your sentence correctly.

Paraphrasing you, punctuated correctly of course:
Thank you, you just reinforced my point even more!

I never said Vick isn't guilty. That has been my opinion the whole time. I did, however, comment on how I think it would be sad if he went to jail for killing animals when another football player has avoided jail after killing people.

PB's post 3098, "take issue" no.1

Post by Knowlzee »

Oops wrong button,....going to try again.
- Even if true, do we need to kill deer and pheasant now for survival?
No,...thanks to capitalism. Thanks to capitalism, each of us no longer needs to hunt for survival. Those that are the best at raising animals for food and goods continue to do it,......and the rest of us do what we do best,.....and we all use the capital to buy the things we don't make or do.

By the way, I think if the animals were smart enough the would do it that way as well. Why, spend all day surviving,.....when you can spend a little time, and doing what you do best, getting paid for that service,......so you can purchase the other things you need,.....and spend the rest of the day posting on Minnhock.

Isn't life good?

They kill each other in nature all the time and often times not for food.
Right,.....animals naturally kill each other from time to time. So why does man need to train them to kill (they already Know how),.....put them in a cage to fight each other until one is near death (not dead, but close),......and then man finally kills the animal, anyway. How about just let nature,.....be nature,.....much more efficient anyway.

Do you really think hunting and fishing is JUST for pleasure? No sport involved? What about when we get "skunked", is that fun? Granted it is a pleasure just being out in God's nature. Do the dogfighters ever get "skunked"?

If it's not torture,.....why don't the dogs fight naturally? Why does man have to put them in a cage, with no other alternative?

Sporting tips for Packerboy

Post by Knowlzee »

Packerboy,....make certain you wear your lifejacket,.....otherwise you will be fined. Also, don't catch more fish than is allowed by man,.....or you will be fined. And, make sure they are the correct length for the lake your fishing on,.....or you will be fined. Those fish that are not the correct length, or that you catch after your limit,.....just throw them back in the lake and hope and pray they survive for some other fisherman's pleasure.

I wonder if God likes all the rules,....or if he would just prefer us to go out and fish,.....and he could take care of the restocking.

Take pleasure,......but don't get fined.

Thanks Knowlzee, The first fish I catch I will throw back in and say a prayer for you.

As far a torture of animls goes, I have a little experience in the meat packing industry as the username would imply. I have spent time in the kill, in the yards and in the hog barns. Old Macdonald, it aint.

A hog barn on a livestock factory isnt pretty.

Again, I dont care. Nothing beats a good pork roast.

But you can develop a little different perspective on these things and when somebody says that dogfighting is terrible but the legal things we do is just AOK and God approved, I cringe a little bit.

Point taken, PB.

Now, to get more on track,.....isn't it interesting that Michael Vick will be suspended by the NFL for being illegally involved with the death of dogs,.....but Ray Lewis is playing in the NFL (did he even miss a day?), and he and his "posse" were involved with the death of a human?

Is one more important than the other,.....or is this a new stand by the NFL,......or was Ray suspended and I just forgot?

The only thing that is consistent about all of this crap is that the NFL has got some real problems with its players behavior.

The Koren Robinson thing was a perfect example. The Vikings sanctimoniously cut him and the Packers sign him before he can get his bags packed.

But I dont think the fans care. They are either numb from all of this crap of they just dont want to think about it. They just want to watch football.

When I was a kid the only real major pro sport was baseball. Then the NFL exploded in poularity in the 70s and other sports followed suite and I was a big fan of all the major pro sports. Now, I really dont have any passion for them except the Twins. I have come full circle because of all the crap. I am sick of it.

Michael Vick can kiss my axe.

All this deer hunting talk reminds me of one of my favorite "Far Sides".

I think it's real funny how when I make a point everyone on here puts me down, calls me names and has something to say about it, but then when PB makes the exact same points people agree with him.
