How does such a variance occur? I mean 5-4 compared to 4-0? I believe 5-4, no way Cory Thorson would allow his team to get shutout

All there is left is Minnehaha/Mahtomedi and Owatonna/Winona, although according to followthepuck Owatonna was up 5-1 in the 3rd.

Holy Family vs. Providence game was wrong too. I got an email from someone that was at the game and left 3 minutes into the 3rd. Holy Family was up 4-1.
Received an email who stated Eden Prairie actually won 5-4.
Still no word on Mahtomedi/Minne ...
Owatonna 6, Winona 2 Final Score

Penalty shot was due to a d-man smothering the puck in the crease.
A Dman would never do that...

Which Boyd? Brandon?
Each of the Boyds had 2 goals- Travis tied it at 4 and put Hopkins ahead 5-4, Brandon had the game winner in OT.
Though for future reference Travis is the 8th grader and the one that scores all the goals.

This would have been a monumental task. You must be an alien with the ability to time travel.

Yeah, I know who they are... I've seen them play numerous time this year which is why I asked if it was Brandon. Seemed odd to me that an 8th grader would be netting a hat trick in his first playoff game - even if it is Travis. Looks as though I was half right anyway.

You because I made a mistake and I fixed my stance. You on the otherhand, made a mistake and defended it, attempting to make me look like a moron.

Yeah I thought you did, which is why I was surprised you thought it was Brandon. :D
They both had huge games though, congratulations to them, I hope they have some magic left for Minnetonka.
