Thanks Greybeard, the hockey community is waiting and will welcome the additional direction towards the answer "H2O's" questions. This will allow viewers to see avoided information so we can understand the same old outdated "cry" towards previous records and team placement. People do want to know what D10 is spoon feeding us.

Taylor Cammaratta was the best player in the tournament. Hands down.

Yeah thats why they took 4th place. LOL

Maybe if he played both sides of the rink I would agree with you but as long as he slowly backchecks ( if at all) and watchs the opposing team score you can't say he is the best player out there. I beleive he scored only 2 goals in the entire tournament (both in the last game ). I wonder what his + and - was for the tourney. He scores 2 in the last game and ends up even in that game? Got to think he was probably a - for the tourney. Just my personal thoughts on him. He is a GOOD PLAYER but has to learn there is two sides to the game. He will for sure be invited to St. Cloud don't get me wrong.

Have to agree with you on this one. He is more a one way player vs. 2 way, but understandable one of the best out there. Keep in mind his linemates at SSM were of better talent vs. select 15's so he might not be hitting the back of the net as much like he did so at SSM. It will be interesting for him next year playing against players 2 years older than him something that he has not done before unlike Fasching, Adler, Hartley
etc. With his size he may get bounced around or with his stickhandling/hockey sense ability he may excel

Team Duluth beat Team WBL 4-0 in the Consolation Chip after losing to D3 in the first round, and beating D16(?) Roseau area and such in the second round.

He actually goes below the blue line in the defensive zone. When I watched Apple Valley play in the State Tournament I didn't see Hudson back check hard more than three times a game.

Don't get me wrong Hudson is an unbelievable player, but I believe Taylor is a more dynamic player as of now.

Team Duluth beat Team WBL 4-0 in the Consolation Chip after losing to D3 in the first round, and beating D16(?) Roseau area and such in the second round.

Not bad, considering 10 of the 20 players on the roster came from one program.

Don't get me wrong Hudson is an unbelievable player, but I believe Taylor is a more dynamic player as of now.

I'm sorry, but Hudson is better than Taylor. Stronger, faster, more of a threat on the ice.

Comparing Taylor to Shroeder is unfair. As a ninth grader Jordan had just finished leading his team to a state high school championship, this is a little different than playing bantams.

Agreed. I don't think you can compare the two at all, yet. Both have chosen separate routes to their respective destinations; Jordan through high-school and early to college, Taylor through Shattuck. Just too different to really compare unless you find a common constant between the two, so to speak.

I skated with Jordan when he was a freshmen, and I have been on the ice with Taylor many times. Taylor is very similar to Jordan at that age.

The "constant" is they are both hockey players. This sounds like as fair & credible an evaluation as is ever done on these pages. He didn't predict the future for either of them. In essence, all he said is: "They're both very good." and you guys want to pick that apart?!

I woon't be surprised that given time he'll likely accomplish many of the same things Jordan has but lets wait to make the comparison.

Perhaps what he has seen (while on the ice with both of them) has lead him to believe that Taylor would have been an impact player on this year's STA team and maybe even could have lead them to a state title? It doesn't seem too far fetched to me.

Comparing players, past, present and future, is a common pastime at all levels of sport. This guy actually seems to have some good basis upon which to make the evaluation.
