Because they have another goaltender on the roster, who was probably getting tired of sitting on the bench? (just a guess)
Giving up three goals to Armstrong should not have been an issue. You shouldn't have a problem posting more than three goals vs. Armstrong, yourselves. Offensive firepower has been the problem at Wayzata all season.

Wayzata hasn't scored six goals in their last 3 games. They haven't scored more than 4 in any one game this entire season. They won't be scoring 6 against Edina... count on it.
Agreed. Their only chance is to hold Edina to a goal or two. Defense and Howe will have to carry the team. If Edina posts more than three goals, it's over. Wayzata does not have great offensive firepower. It's fortunate for them that their defense and goaltending has been stout, or their season could have been much worse. Limiting opponent's scoring to 5 goals only twice (never any more), is fantastic, but only scoring a maximum of four goals will not put too many ticks in the win column.
This squad needs an offensive boost. Hopefully, they can find such, for next season.

It appears that many of Wayzata's loses actually came on big ice.
I just don't see them staying with the Hornets on Saturday unless Giles decides to rest a few boys, but I don't think that is his style.
The Hornets still need the game to win the conference title outright.
Their home ice is big ice (olympic sheet). A lot of losses at home???
Edina's M.O. is that they come out early with ferocity. Basically, they try to jump on teams early and send a message. They primarily run two lines, like most teams. Because they put a lot of energy into the early stages of the game and limit the number of lines playing, their pace tends to wear down as the game goes on.
If Wayzata can match the ferocity early on and play good team D, they can make it a close game and maybe beat them.

(Assuming you're coming from Edina) Take 494 north to Hwy 55 (1 mile north of 394). Take Hwy 55 west about a mile to Vicksburg Lane and take a right. At the 2nd set of lights, take another right and go straight - you'll see Lifetime Fitness and the PIC is attached.
Well, I just got back, It was a great game and the iorny was we had like twice as many students as they did.
BTW, did anyone see me? I had on a Faded blue red sox cap, glasses, and a white edina jersey
