You said centennial was on the worse side of it, i simply took that to mean that centennial was being cheap

You asked if I was mad Blaine lost. I did think Centennial had a few more cheap shots in there, but both teams had their shots. But putting that behind us, it was a pretty dang good game. Lots of quality scoring chances for both sides.

They should have won the last meeting at Centennial but some poor goal tending was the biggest reason for that loss. Thursday should be a fun one with the Bengals coming out on top at Fogerty....

I don't need to say anything, these boys have said enough...

Thanks boblee!

=P~ It was the Centennial vs Moorhead 2/3/07 thread!

Spent the 3rd period of the JV game chattin' with Jack Hanna and I

think I threw him off just enough to pull the victory!

Nice young man Jack is, and a fine netminder at that!

Got a kick out of Jordan Singers (#12) play too!

The guy's got some play in him as does the rest of Centennials team!

The Spuds did some fine penalty kills throughout, especially when they were down against a 5 on 3 that Centennial failed to take advantage of!

It was a dogfight in the 3rd!

And just like I said, it's just like I say!

Congratulations Jack!

Nice "zinger" by Singer to beat Blaine too!

Used that Blaine D-Man perfectly for a screen on that one!

Hey I just wanted to say that the respect we just earned by beating Blaine 2-1 gives us the real confrence championship as we beat Blaine twice. That is what we did with the respect we got. Oh ya did Hanna hold the Bengals to under three goals i cant remember. Not only did we win on their ice we dominated them in the third period which Singer capped off with another amazing goal. It sure is nice to be able to get out your brooms for the season sweep over a rival.

Bengals 4

Cougars 2

Beaudette scores 2 along with one from Lynch and Schaber. Singer gets 2 for Centennial but the continued good goaltending for Blaine gets the W.
HAHAHA sorry to see it didn't work out the way you predicted....the bengals were as OVERRATED as I thought

So much for that hi powered offense that Centennial couldnt handle. What one goal. Both goalies played well but Blaine's coach gave Centennial the motivation it needed by saying Centennial couldnt man up with Blaine and that Blaine was way more talented.

I'm sorry but that was the one of the worst officiated games I've seen in a long while. Interesting how Lynch gets penalized for being quicker than the D-Man and "charging" into Hanna. GIVE ME A BREAK! He rode Ben straight into Hanna. The majority of the Bengals offense is generated by the fast breaks and using our speed. Well FSN didn't get to see that because everytime Lynch would beat someone they would hook him and slow him up. EVERY SINGLE TIME! The "refs" finally lost the game when Lynch was hooked straight into Beaudette giving the Cougars an odd-man rush and Singer scored on a very nice shot. That's alright Mr. Cinco, we'll save some seats down at the X for ya in a couple weeks. You guys can bring the ER...I mean the completely original sieve, hand.

Hey your just bitter we beat you on your own ice in Elk River. And the only reason you get to state so much is your sections blows compared to ours. We have four top ten teams in our section its insane. Yes it was a good game but the refs were even for both sides its not like Blaine didnt have there chances on a 3 on 5 power play and some others.

You'll still be lucky to make it to the section final. Blaine will make it further in the playoffs then Centennial, no doubt in my mind...

Did anyone else happen to notice in the third period when the FSN announcers were talking about the sections set up and they mentioned that Centennial had just gotten beaten by Maple Grove about 2 weeks ago, and how they might be some tough competition for Blaine in sections? It is ironic how they failed to mention the 6-0 thrashing Blaine laid on the Leafs after they beat Centennial 3-2 a few days before.... just an observation

An elbow to the head of a goalie is an automatic penalty. No matter what team you were pulling for the replay proved it was the right call.

The Blaine goalie kept it close early. Blaine was unable to sustain pressure all night and they really struggled with the Centennial forecheck.

Both teams played a great game.

It's too bad there are always a few that like to place blame on the officials.

Unless you can speak from experience calling a HS game on the ice, your opinions aren't worth much.

Kudos to both teams, and good luck.

You don't have to be a weatherman to see which way the wind blows. In general I think the officiating has stunk this year. I don't like the way the games are being called now. Takes the flow away and makes it a game of special teams. Let em play!!

Anyone else notice right before the game started they showed some of the Blaine fans (mostly girls) and one was flashing her bra? Then the camera went the other way and came back again and she was still flashing.

Interesting :D

When i made the coment about someone being bitter I said so because he was raggin on us for the sieve hand so i figured he was an ER fan. Last nights game was a well played game on both sides and very even throughout it just came down to Centennial coming out to play harder in the third period
