Sounds like the Gophers had 5 forwards...4 defensemen...and a goalie on Sunday...and the Sabres won the game...I'd think you'd be happy about the final outcome and leave it at that...instead you respond to Hockeyguy99's comment by taking a shot at the gophers teamwork...the only problem with the Jr. Gophers teamwork ...is that many of their players (from years past) had schedue conflicts and could not participate in the tournament...suffice it to say...if Jake Youso, John O'Neill, Matt Farris, Berkley Scott, Drew Olson, James Campbell and Joe Howe were there last Sunday...(increasing their numbers to the normal 9 forwards, 6 D and 2 goalies)...it would have been a much different outcome.fivehole628 wrote:I disagree... the Gophers may have skill, but they have no team work. The reason they lost is because they showed up thinking the game would be a cake-walk. And IMO, Zepeda is the most cocky hockey player i have ever seen (and he scored 3 goals, not 2).hockeyguy99 wrote:I caught a little bit of the Gopher Sabres game. The Gophers were a lot more skilled but didn't have enough players to do the job. I think they had maybe 9 guys out on the ice compared to the Sabers full bench. Pretty clean game though, I believed Zepeda had both goals that I was there for.

Sounds like you know a lot about this Gopher team! I may have been a little harsh against the Gophers, but they were definately overrated last weekend, and I stand by what I said before about Zepeda... cocky

Cocky doesn't bother me too much, but the fact he can never be found in the same zip code as his defensmen does...fivehole628 wrote: and I stand by what I said before about Zepeda... cocky
