Sorry CNT...at Buffalo...

Teams were spilt with both JV and varsity players on each...The first of teams played 60 minutes and EP won fairly easily (like 5-0) the second teams played to a draw 3-3.

I'm pretty sure Elk River, AHA, White Bear Lake, and Osseo all scrimmage this Saturday at Elk River Arena, they do it every year. Usually start at about 9 or 10 and it rotates all day. JV plays at White Bear Lake.

I got this last night on Rogers scrimmages.

11/17 at Blake 30 min against all three teams.
vs
Blake
Rochester Lourdes
Totino Grace

Hmmm were the only pagen school

Now... before I get the "why against all "A" schools" question, which I don't have the answer to anyway.
I will speculate that it is just a steady progression of a newer program.

Last year was against SPA, Monticello, and Fargo Shanley, at Monticello.
The year before that it was up at Princeton, I can't remember who against though.
So because these are against what I feel are very good "A" schools, I believe it's going the right direction for the Rogers program.

I'm sure it's a challange to break into upper "AA" groups that do scrimmages already with each other :?: who knows? but it will still be fun to see those other three teams, don't get to see many Southern MN teams.

Chaska vs Hopkins today in tryout scrimmage

HoFam - you never did get back in regard to Saturday's scrimmage in Buffalo about a good place to get cold beverages and tasty eats while in town for the matches? Help us out here - need some good bar food on a Saturday

tomASS...well, it's a good question and one that should be easily answered...but not knowing the type of guy you are makes it a bit more difficult.

However, there is an Applebee's in town if you like that type of atmosphere or if you're a little more rugged and want to shoot some stick while waiting for your meal you can hit the Buffalo Bar and Grill, there also is a Night Club right off 55 as you come into town that just changed hands so i am unsure of the name. We also have an American Legion in town if you want to pull tab it and watch some college football.

All are within 5 minutes of the rink and anyone can point you in the right direction. Hope this helps...

I did offer him a good will beer a while back when we first butted heads before his logic chip malfunction and the blog battle escalated. He turned me down It could never happen now. I can't deal with phoney.

I am an optimist, but in this case you rarely see me with the glass half empty like it is in this picture so can you get me another one please?

I know the "bored" equates this to fishing. I was in CNT's live well before he even threw the bait out.

Your just stirring the "well" now
