East finally capitalized on its scoring opportunities thanks in large part to a good game from Kyle Lutzka. Cooper in goal wasn't tested much in the first and gave up several goals in succession in the second but after that settled down and played a very solid 3rd period. This was an important step in the right direction for East, with Centennial and Anoka looming.

It sounded like Boese had a good game also.
Good play by play on 610 AM.

East looked good, except for a small second period let down. Seems to me neither Cooper or Larsen are sure who wants to be the starting goalie. Lutzka played well, scored 3 goals, not pretty, but non the less what East needed from their second line. Boese scored beauties, both set up by perfect passes from Johnson. East looked dominating in first and thirds, just like in their other games and losses.
Don't count these hounds out, they can move the puck well, and D looked quite impressive let by Joe Arbour yesterday. Next week will be great with Centennial and Anoka.
