Not even Marshal can score 6 in a night. Except for that time in tiny-mites.

Yeah, 5 goals aganist the 75th ranked team in the state, one of many tough games on Edina's schedule.

Marshall is a good goal scorer, but for all around player I would say it is Danny Mattson. He looked real good last night on FSN.

of course he is
he has 43 goals against one of the top 5 hardest schedules this year

but having budish and lee does help but he still is an awesome player best in the state this year i believe

My definition of a goal scorer is when he gets the chance, it's in the back of the net. You can almost count on a couple of goals each game. We are not talking about assists or points. If Tonka would have had a pure goal scorer like him, I don't think they would be playing golf now. He did it playing an extremely tough schedule, along with playing against the other teams top line most of the time. Obviously he has talented teammates, but he has scored his whole career, something you either have or you don't.

Well put! Scoring to a goal scorer comes naturally..........They often know where the biscuit is going to be before it gets there.

Anticipation is the goal scorer's best friend.

Johnson was ranked 88th - Como 123rd, 35 differential
Edina was ranked 1st - Rochester Century 75th, 74 differential

With my math skills kruegers 6 is more impressive than the 5 for Everson.

Ogee, I think it goes without saying that kids don't regularly hang 5 on the toughest opponents. Credit Everson for having an amazing year. He scored plenty against their strongest opponents, so it isn't like he only showed up in the blowout box scores.

The other way of looking at this is that Edina was able to blow Century out of the arena because Everson filled it.

People in Roseau have been ga-ga over Landman, so I don't see how all of a sudden you become worried about who anyone plays.

It doesn't matter how impressive one game was. Everson can outplay this Krueger kid any day of the week. If Krueger is so good, why hasn't he been recruited yet? Thats what i thought

Just havin a little fun OTC- Marshall is a great player, it will be fun to watch Edina in person. Seen them on TV a couple times but its always better live.
Are you going to make it to the X?

I will be in Dallas Friday and Saturday. Thursday I'll be at home in Orlando. I'm counting on an internet feed for that first game and hope to watch the second the same way.

If Edina loses to Cloquet I have no interest in watching the Conso games.

Dying to see Roseau. A great team - obviously. Curious about the Catholics and also the two highly regarded metro publics on a roll. I also want to know what Lakeville South has - the same team that got blasted by six goals earlier in the season or the one their faithful claim is a bona fide contender.

How about you? Will you be there? I'm envious of everyone in the Twins that can attend or watch live on TV. Enjoy.
