What happened to Horgan?
I think he is the one who cut his achilles in a game at Hermantown
 Ouch. All the way through or partially? I would think that could end his playing for good.
Yes he's the one who cut the achilles...IDK if it was complete, I don't think so from the way I was told.
I heard there was another kid that got sent to the hospital from the same team the same day??
Too bad!! he's good kid with great skills. Hope he heals quickly!

mankato west... if they make it out of a tough section with lourdes red wing and albert lea they can make some noise... they have the two top scorers in the state and are still undefeated thus far.

To reply to all of this, yes, Horgan is out with an Achilles injury. It is not career ending, and he will be back on the ice again. The other player that went down also returned to the ice, so he will be back.

Horgan will return next season, and I wouldn't be surprised for him to make a powerful statement with a chip on his shoulder.

As for hockey and Little Falls, how many of their top players from last year left for the USHL this year? They weren't absolutely horrible, but I don't see them making any noise at state or sections even this year. Cathedral didn't look great and they outplayed the Flyers the whole game.
You are no longer allowed to use my name. Ever. Dont try to drag me into this just beacuse everyone hates you.

I Falls is my darkhorse. They are deep enough and with Youso anything could happen. This kid can 100 percent control a game and I don,t care who they play. Goaltending will be important for them having lost Hjelle to the USHL who is one of the top goalies there.
Do I have to shadow Pavelich again coach?

I watch a great deal of hockey and Duluth Marshall is definitely the favorite in 7A. I believe there D and goaltending is both stronger than I Falls. Offensively they are pretty even. The wild card is Youso. Hey I hope I Falls win section 7. I love watching I Falls. I have said it in other threads had Hjelle not left early this was a dead heat or I even favor the falls. Hjelle was and is that good!

Horgan is definitely an incredible player, and his loss will hurt, but with young players like Colin Mayer stepping up, along with strong goaltending by Brian Nelson, Mound still has a great shot at going a long way this year.
Losers of 4 of their last 6, Papabear?
Are they going into early hibernation?
The downhill slide is on..........wayyyyyy too early.
They'll be a non-factor by the end of January.

They are still a very good team. They will be back into stride in a couple of weeks or maybe even earlier. They only lost to SCC 2-1 the other night

Yeah they are a legitimate threat but without their linemate (festler) they just aren't the same.
