my bad, just use to those Thursday games!
Sheesh! I thought it was tonight too. Must have got into some bad Kraut!
That spoiled kraut does a number on you mite-dad or was it too much vodka. What is with you trying to hide your identity we still can spot you at the game with those sausages and that big crock of kraut.
LF 5
Willmar 1
sorry but you guys don't follow hockey enough to know that the flyers don't play very well on the poor willmar ice. Otherwise it would be a big blowout 4 goals at the most.
Seems like Willmar gives the Flyers a good struggle sometimes. I think it took a period or two before LF put it to them at home too. Maybe Willmar will do ok in their section.
Thanks mite-dude. You got it right that Willmar usually plays LF tough especially on their home ice. Good thing LF got the win its nice to see the 2nd line put the puck in the net maybe they learned how to pass?
did you see how many mins they spent in the box during this game? 20:00 mins, lol, they are lucky they won this game, or it is because Willmar couldnt do much with their powerplay.
Sounds like it was a great game. Wish I could have been there. It's to bad the 6A semi finals and finals are going to be held there. darkdemon was right the flyers never play good on bad ice and if anybody knows bad ice it's darkdemon
Its a good thing that the rest of the section is a joke so the flyers can win on that sheet they call ice in Willmar. The sections should be held somewhere like Brainerd would be a good pick and it is more centrally located.
We need a standard for ice at Cardinal Arena looks like i should go straighten things out
whockeyguy wrote:so whats the deal with the ice @ Willmar, never heard of a complaint there before or is this an excuse for not beating them as bad as you thought,
Check my previous posts buddy my prediction was close no one complains because it doesn't do any good. The whole arena is a joke and yes the ice stinks to most standards but not yours apparently.
GopherPuckPlayer wrote:So why are we going down there, when there are other places we could go? Is it because of other sections at that time?
I have no idea why they choose willmar. I can't believe they didn't choose SCSU's national hockey center or the Brainerd Civic Center. They should have choosen a place closer to where the teams are
i havent been on that sheet for years, can somebody give me a reason for the bad ice other than it stinks, whats wrong with it, to slow , to hot , or what, just saying it stinks leaves one with nothing,

The arena temp is too high making soft, slow ice. I'm not sure if they use hot or cold water on the ice, if they are using cold water with the warm temp building it will make a poor unconditioned sheet of ice.
No worries anymore though the sections have been move as quoted by 4theloveofthegame i just got the news this morning sections are now in st. cloud at the MAC
