If you want to see real loyal fans in the metro, go to any SEC, Lake or Classic Lake game.

Teams like Jefferson, Edina, WB, Burnsville, or even Roseville all have good student sections every year.

Going to Duluth East I'm naturally biased, but we draw quite well for the big games considering the school size, travel in huge numbers to Cloquet, and are proud to be ranked among the most unpleasant to opposing teams. We drew a reaction out of Gleason while in the penalty box for Edina, which was amusing.

I think East also easily claims the title for nastiest chants, which are broken out when they play Cloquet.

Elk River might have something to say about that.

I dont think anybody could beat the student section for the Falls vs. Fort and i think they played a big role in keeping the Fort off their game. They had every chant possible going and they had about 5 american flags. They had streakers inbetween periods. It was just nuts in there.

best single game performance that i ahve seen was burnsvilles student section VS. Edina this year. The fans were a sole reason why burnsville actually contended and took edina to OT. Unfortunately for burnsville, the athletic director wont allow cheering anymore in the burnsville arena

two examples from this year from east. "The wheels on your house go round and round." and just for the dance team "Sugar Daddies." 'nuff said.

when Tonka played Eden Prairie just a few days after the whole face book incident, the whole Tonka student section brought red cups as seen in the facebook pictures and had several chants regarding the issue, i thought that was pretty clever

White Bear has the best student section that i've seen. It's always funny when you go to Rochester or Duluth and are louder than their student sections. When it comes to the White Bear student section, start the showers..

Burnsville fans are straight up crazy..so crazy there not really allowed to cheer much anymore except at big rival games..there loud, obnoxious, and straight up mean..thats when student sections have an actual impact on a game. I dont care if you guys complain of rude student sections..remember this is minnesota were talking about..just like texas football..come see me.

Hibbings Student Section hasnt been effective really untill the Virginia, Grand Rapids Game, Tonight vs I Falls topped it, they have Sieve, Na Na Hey Hey Good Bye, Start the Bus, Over Rated, and Yusso Sucks within a 2 minute span.

Thats funny that someone from Duluth would second that cause when White Bear played at Duluth the Duluth East fans were sitting while the White Bear fans stood all the way up until the game winning goal..
