74 shots on goal and they are playing like crap ok Mitey-dude maybe the defense needs to tighten up.

I would say that needing 5 goals to beat River Lakes and giving up 4 goals on 29 shots against them isn't playing your best game.

He probably did have the game of his life but that doesn't change the fact that no team gearing up for a run at state should ever give up 4 goals to River Lakes.

Still, the point is that it was a game, when it shouldn't have been. Allowing 4 to RL is not a good sign. It's unacceptable. I hope they haven't flipped the switch to coast.

Cooch better make that very clear.

You don't get it. I'm not knocking their offensive performance. Putting up 74 shots is impressive, no matter who you're playing. It's the defensive performance, or lack there of, that I am very surprised by.

no you don't get it :!: I didn't say anything about the defensive performance yeah I'm dissapointed in 4 goals let up by lf, but with 74 shots by lf on rl they should have put the puck in the net more :!:

You're surprised by the lack of defensive play by the Flyers? I think that's become commonplace.

This was only the third time this year that River Lakes has put up at least three goals in a game. The other times were against Becker and Prairie Centre...

Just wait until truckman gets on here and tells us LF had only 30 shots on goal and that the coaches cooked the books again and made it into 75 :!:

Give him a couple hours he'll say something to that caliber

Exactly what I said, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that giving up 4 goals to the worst team in AA, possibly the state, is playing like crap. I also don't think they played well against SRR where a break here or there could have sent them down again. The first 3 LF goals in the SRR game could have been stopped I thought and then the outcome could have been much different. And if you think they were clicking against Willmar, I think you are smoking something.

FOS, You're not bringing anything to the table.

Mite-dad is right.

If this team wants to do ANYTHING at state, they need to shore things up on the defensive end. They can't expect to put the puck in the net 6-7 times a game against top-notch teams.

Hey, I'm sorry I ruffled some of you folks' feathers, but you have to admit, they aren't playing their best hockey right now. I've watched them play a lot of games this year and last, and they've played a lot better. They were playing well on both ends for several games through the last Sartell game, and lately they haven't been on their "A" game. Again, sorry if I ticked some of you guys off.
