Thank god we live in Minnesota and not Nevada. You guys would be out some money. They boys are 2-0 in there "last 3", beating Blaine 2-1 and Osseo 3-0. But if we take a look at the last five games the Rebels are 4-0-1. Im hoping all CP prejudice will be put aside, and the coaches poll on Sunday will place CP in that number 2 spot.

Well CP loses to Anoka tonight in a heartbreaker. 3-1 in a heartbreaker with an empty net. Well I guess I shouldnt call it a heartbreaker, seeing as they are not in the same section, and it was Anoka's senior night. But Jaeger of CP held them in the game throught out, with the majority of the game being 1-0. A couple of goals and a 5 on 3 in favor of CP late made the game extremely exciting. Great Pre-playoff game!

And for all of you doubters that puts CP at 2-1 in their last three games. Watch out.

Jaeger

Jaeger played superb in goal for CP.

Having beaten Blaine twice...and having a very good overall and conf. record...CP will be a threat in 5AA...so might Osseo for that matter...but Centennial will be tough to beat as they seem to be hitting they're stride in the past few games...but you can never count out Blaine...as they have the most depth at forward.

In past section playoffs, one trend that has led some teams to an underdog victory is that of a hot tender. Im hoping Jaeger from CP can keep it up, and maybe next time his team will respond to his play. Although you could argue the line were rustled around a bit due to the Grandner injury and 2 D being a bit banged up. Thankfully they have a nice long 10 day break to heal up, then comes the gauntlet.

My arm hurts from patting myself on my back for this. But I want to send out a hugh congrats to the boys for a season well played. Now the real season starts in 9 days at Andover. Good luck and remember it is now time to win 3 more games.
