9 Am- Edina Vs. Jefferson Bantam A @ Xcel

11 Am- Duluth East vs. Grand Rapids @ the deck- always a great rivalry

1 pm- Holy Angels vs. Hill Murray @ mariucci. Two great skating teams on an olympic sheet would be a blast.

3 pm- Edina vs. Roseau @ Xcel this game would be unreal

5 pm- Gophers vs. North Dakota @ Mariucci

7pm- Wild vs. Calgary @ xcel

9 pm- SCSU vs Minn duluth @ the Deck tape delay

Roseau vs Warroad on Lake of the Woods
White Bear vs Hill @ Aldrich
Edina vs Bloomington Jefferson @ Breamer
Gophers vs UND @ Ralph
Wild vs Chicago on Soldier Field (wearing throw back North Star jerseys)

Roseau/Warroad always plays both games in January (usually 1st and 3rd week) always had and probably always will. Don't see it changing. Don't ever want to see the wild play with N. Star jerseys. Norm Green insured those jerseys would never be worn by a Minnesota team again (sorry still a little bit bitter about it).

They bill it as a celebration of hockey on all levels in Minnesota. So...
Here's what I think they need to do.
--Start with PeeWees at like 7 am (they wouldn't get people to watch at that time anyways)
--Then Bantams
--Then highschool (I don't care who)
--Then WCHA (heck, how about a MN team tourney (sorry Beavers), screw the DQ cup, Semis Friday, Finals Saturday)
--Then Wild
And, why not, do it outdoors (TCF). And between games and periods, go to some local parks and ponds and show how the rest of us play, outdoors with no gear and no rules. That's hockey in Minnesota.

-i think you have to do two northern teams, its all about the tradition. warroad vs. roseau outdoors or superior vs. DE maybe when the new twins stadium gets finished have a wild game in that! just a thought

I don't mean to start another thread here, but I have to ask why everyone wants to see Roseau next year? Ness is gone along with Oliver, and they'll be just okay...right?

For one, Oliver? Yeah I bet nobody will ever want to watch Roseau again if Oliver leaves. He's not even leaving for sure. But I think FSN wants to pick the programs that have a lot of history in Minnesota Hockey. (Roseau/Eveleth). I don't know if its really based on the players.

12:00 - Roseau vs Warroad on Red Lake.

That will never happen . . . ever! Maybe on Lake of the Woods, but not on Red Lake.

How about an outdoor game on Lake Superior by Canal Park next year?

Next year it should go like this.
Start the day with a couple high school games doest matter who I will watch anyway followed by the gophers vs mankato at 5, vancouver at wild at 8, st cloud state at duluth tape delay

11:00 AM inside- Shattuck Prep v. Edina at Edina
1:00 PM outside- any metro team v. any northern team
3:00 PM inside- Dallas @ Wild
5:00 PM inside- UND @ UofM
7:00 PM outside- SCSU @ UMD

When the gophers get that football stadium done the Wild need to get an outside game.
