Their coach has a son on the team. This may not violate what you were told since I think he's coached the Squirt A team in that past. Maybe he's not a parent-coach and he's just the coach who now has a son old enough for the team.

I stand corrected. I was more talking about the associations that have coaches move up every year their kid does. If Edina coach has been their for a few years then I get his son would one day be on the team. Thank you for the correction O-town.

the coach has been with the team for a few years, missing most of his son's three years of mite games. Just so happens that his son in now a squirt and good enough to play on that team.
