Blaine can win if they play as physical as possible from the drop of the first puck until the end of the third period. If they don't, Edina will prevail.

Or Blaine can win if they sprinkle pixie dust on their skates, lock the Edina locker room with all their players inside, and tilt the rink 20 degrees in a favorable direction.
There are all sorts of possibilities, really.
Pretty bad ,i stayed for the first period, after watching our JV dominate the first 2 periods and end up losing 4-0 . Edina Varsity is just too frickin fast, their transition from O to D and D to O is unreal, they waste so little time, our Bengals never had a chance...school was in session!!
My hats off to the Hornets for what sounds like a dominating performance over the Bengals tonight...I seriously thought Blaine had a decent shot at a win or at least a score closer than this!!!

I say Edina's skill will still win, but I really think Blaine has a good chance to win.
Edina 3
Blaine 2
Blaine didn't hit at all and Edina played much better than they had in the Holiday Classic. 3 soft goals given up by Ankeny. If they play like this every game, they are the best team in the state. This is the first game where Edina has really put its offense together in a while. Too bad the IF is gigantic. Obviously Giles did something in practice this weak.
yeah i agree Blaine looked scared to even contest the player with the puck. Edina's first line SMOKED the blaine defense tonight.
Blaine didnt play as well as they could have but the way Edina played tonight it didnt matter. Blaine only scored when they had the extra attacker, 2 on the power play and 2 of the goals were on delayed penalties and the goalie was pulled.
