Maybe you Virginia guys should do something before talking all the smack.
Very nice. 8)
Ya Eveleth had a great run, but after an embarrassing 16-0 loss against the falls. I think that run is over.

Yes, Eveleth has young players coming up and will mostly likely be better in the future, but for now not so much.
And statements like that one prove that the rivalry is alive and well.

Hey Kid! Sorry to burst your bubble and the little fantasy world your living but Eveleth will never, ever, ever, ever, never, ever make it to a state tourney again. Numbers are declining and they just can't compete with Hibbing,Virginia,Marshall and Falls. Heck they have trouble competing with Ely and Two Harbors. They'll be lucky to have the 8 seed next year.
Are you joking me? really the 8 seed, Eveleth is going to have alomst a full team of seniors next year and by far the most talent they've had in a long time. You obviously know nothing about section 7A hockey.

Sadly, the state of hockey in MN comes down to exactly what everything in this world comes down to in the end... the almighty $. When you look at the geographical dominance of the sport throughout its history, the school with the highest income demographic is always on top. So Virginia and Eveleth can go on ahead battling it out with each other, the only reward for earning a state birth is getting pasted by some rich private school from the twin cities. Unfortunately, unless they strike gold or oil in them taconite mines up there, you are all out of luck.
