When we played EP they had 2 of their best guys suspended by the coaches for something that happened in a tournament.easton2323 wrote:I don't think either team really played to their potential. Both teams were missing top guys. Ep looks really good. Jefferson is starting to click. Why was EP missing two guys? I know Jefferson had one out for fighting and the other with mono.
Good luck to all teams the rest of the season.

Jefferson was without two players, one from each of their top two lines..meaning that the lines probably werent clicking as much as they could..but same goes for Eden Prarie, who probably did not play to full potential when missing 2 guys. EP looked like a very solid team, but they really let up at moments. I would say that both teams have better games in them..i've seen them both play better hockey. I think that JGA has about 7 or 8 teams this year that can all really compete..EP, Edina, Tonka, WBL, Centennial, Jefferson, Wayzata, maybe more. A lot of good competition this year....

I was at the game the shots were not that lopsided. It was more like 30-23, the scorer was not recording the shots correctly.bardown30 wrote:Edina 2, EP 1. Shots were 39-17 in favor of Edina.
It was a very good game, Edina had a free goal off a weird bounce, and a PP goal was the game winner for Edina with 15 seconds left. Very even teams, and Clearly the Hornets deserved the win tonight. I would say that Edina And EP are the 2 best teams in JGA.
Bardown must of been the shot keeperbigpictureguy wrote:I was at the game the shots were not that lopsided. It was more like 30-23, the scorer was not recording the shots correctly.bardown30 wrote:Edina 2, EP 1. Shots were 39-17 in favor of Edina.

Nope, just going by what the scoreboard said, but bigpictureguy knows all I suppose since he was sitting in the stands keeping track of the shots. Shots were lopsided with Edina having multiple shots roll/bounce across the goal line. Both teams played well, but Edina dominated most of the game I thought. One other thing I noticed was that Mulvehill is one of the laziest players I have seen. He is good and has wheels, but he lost the puck a few times trying to dangle and he simply stopped skating. I was shocked by this. State Championship could come down to these 2 very easily.JeffJags wrote:Bardown must of been the shot keeperbigpictureguy wrote:I was at the game the shots were not that lopsided.
