This was a great game to watch. Both teams played extremely well. It didn't get too chippy except at the end of OT. It was very enjoyable to watch Pitlick and Bjugstad play. They were both clearly the best players on the ice. I was surprised Centennial didn't score more on Blaine's line changes seeing as they had a man floating at the blue line every time. I look forward to a great game when they play again at Fogerty.

Yes, Centennial did kind of tear it up there in the second or Blaine fell "asleep". But Blaine tore it up in the third and Centennial fell "asleep". Shots on goal after two period was Blaine 18 - Centennial 24. Shots on goal after the third was Blaine 35 - Centennial 28. So Blaine outshot Centennial 17 - 4 in the third. Final shots by the way were Blaine 37 - Centennial 31.MnPride2 wrote:Ended 4-4 tie,Blaine went up 2-0,Cent scored to make it 2-1 after one,Blaine went to sleep 2nd period Cent up 4-2,Bjugstad scores with 1 min left to tie.
Then there was the "scrum" after the handshakes as there was last year. Although this year it seemed it was just between two players. This is currently one of the top rivalries in the state! And I think it will be for years to come! I Love It!
