Now this is a great post. Mpls Park does have some great players and other greats that chose to leave the association. So what if Maple Grove and Wayzata have way more kids trying out - a lot of those kids are very average atheletes, at best. Here is a kid that is saying they had the great athletes, but they left. The bottom line is that certain association have success because of reputation - families move there because of that reputation. Should Edina Peewee A be forced to split into 2 because they have proven to be a powerhouse? Only if they can stack one team and let the other be challenged.

Look for a post early next week. The following districts have completed playoffs: D4, D11, D12, D15 and D16. Note that D4 is not quite over since the D4 #3 seed New Prague has a play-in game to the South Region at Phalen (?) on Sunday against either Irondale or Washburn (playing each other tomorrow at Highland).
