WOW! If you don't think those organizations haven't had a Huge & positive impact on youth hockey in Minnesota - producing some very, very skilled players/teams and changing the face of youth hockey in Minnesota (or atleast the Metro Area) and the influence they have already had on Associations - I think your dead wrong.

It maybe hasn't happened yet, that players attribute thier Hockey skills/training to (1) of those organizations: But I will bet in the next 5-10years...There will be alot of recognition

Style..? High Tempo, Discipline, focus on skill development ..Don't say "Hey Superstar - you mean MY Hockey doesn't have that..?" I didn't say that. I am saying MYH needs more, much more. I have personal experience with all 3. MYH, Fire and MM -

Call me CRAZY!! 8) But I see it coming and it is already happening - Open your eyes

OK, back to the original question. What's the plan? Lay it out. Work to improve the organization you're involved with and the outbound communication to all the metro hockey families that might be interested in what you're doing. You're only limiting your own ability to improve the organization. To borrow a phrase, be all you can be.

That's the way you choose to lay out the Fire's 09-10 plan so all of us have a good understanding. It's a secret society because if they wanted a real Tier 1 organization they could probably work toward that goal. Instead they have bitter idiots at the wheel. Future success will be difficult with the current leadership.

Of course if they really did a nice job, had open and well attended tryouts, then Superstars kid wouldn't make it. Why not try and attract the best 15 players and have a truly Tier 1 team? They've put politics into the Fire just like the associations so many of the malcontents wanted to get away from. The bad attitudes they had during their association experience surfaces in their new organization. Zero class.

I favor Tier 1 and opportunities for good players that don't think they get them in their home associations. That's all fine. Just do it right or you embarrass all of us. And, back to my CMO comment, you scare people away.
Tier 1 AAA is wrought with politics. If you are leaving your association to get away from "the politics" then Tier 1 AAA should not be your destination (I am familiar with several and from what I understand of the organizations I am not familiar with, through friends and acquaintences, it is pretty much most if not all Tier 1 AAA organizations, I am not singling out any specific ones). Tier 1 AAA definitely has it's good points and I am not putting down AAA but in my experience the politics in AAA are just as bad as they are in associations, sometimes worse.
