I disagree Aceinthehole. Benilde is going to skate all over Totino. Benilde has more depth and stronger scorers, as well as a better goalie. Totino's goaltending is going to have to be better than last year if they plan on beating spring lake park, benilde, and mahtomedi. If their goaltending can play well, they may have a shot at 2nd or 3rd in their conference, but goaltending is going to be a huge factor in the team's success.

RBK...Your school being a AA school the goal is to be competive with your squad and the Eagles have won a few games in the past five years against the Red Knights.

The Eagles always have some players burst onto the scene. DeLisle wasn't a star as a sophomore but burst onto the scene as a junior. Someone will come through for the Eagles. Loahr will have the team ready again.

Does anyone think that St. Francis could compete with Totino or Benilde in the conference? With Benik, Belisle, and Foesch they could put up a ton of goals. And Andy Benik is one of the best goalies out there in my opinion. Wouldn't it make for a great story to see the Saint Francis Fighting Saints in the top 20? Probably not going to happen but it would be a great story. Tony Hoops is doing a great job up in East Bethel.

Well in my previous post I already mentioned parnell and Hockert. And I wouldn't have posted my second message if my first one would have been addressed.

this isnt the nhl its like the previous poster said....someone will burt on the scene! i know the have a lot of big forwards who can skate who may not have had a lot of time last year but were on varsity! the egalse should be senior heavy and that does make a difference a name is only a name! and YOU ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS YOU SKATED THE LAST GAME! therefore you want names? I know they lost deslile and nvoitki, but they also lost some seniors who did next to nothing

, and overall this class is way better except goalie and deslile obviously

and in regards to giving the division to bsm..I highly doubt it! if you want to give it to anyone give it to mahtomedi.
Spring lake park, and saint francis and saint louis park will not be able to compete with bsm,tg,mahtomedi!

Me being a north suburban fan and usually try to stay neutral have to disagree with a lot here. Delisle was on 1st line his sophmore year and had about 40 points with nagel and mcdonald. he was a star the 1st day he got there. but as of now tg is very well rounded, they arent going to need to rely on one or two people like last year. unfortunately for them, bsm is very talented all over the table and see them being conference champs with ease.
Another thing, st.francis has a couple of talented players but andy benik is no where near the top of best goalies in MN, ive seen him play and yes hes had his games but e lacks the consistency. he is a rollercoaster and i cant see them being contenders with bsm but maybe with tg.
Spring Lake Park is hard to tell, last year and for the past couple years they had vince rolstad and josh bevers, i had watched them since their sophmore years, and bevers i thought had definite d1 or ushl capability, i dont know where he is now? hopefully he is doing something, very talented from a low profile school. anyway, slp has a solid goaltender and solid defense, i just cant see them putting up points like they used to. but we'll see. my predictions for conference
bsm
slp
tg
st.louis park
st.francis
chisago
and than whoever else.
thanks for listening :D

Why is it that everytime someone mentions something good about a player, everyone assumes it's that player's parent/brother/etc providing that info?

Just about anyone following youth hockey and the Advanced 15's, knows that Roo is a very good player leaving CR and heading to TG.

It was meant to be a sarcastic gesture on my part and I do agree with your statement

looking at the roster from last year and from watching games from last year louiselle, colpitts could really step it up they also have returning players ryan ach, zach hurly, sam hult, logan manske as seniors and returning forwards salewski, alex ach, xavier fust! from the senior class I think every one of them deserve to be playing and are good quality forwards and they will step it up this year.

What could have been a deep senior based team has turned to a team in crisis. Coach of TG cut three returning forwards. Which is not only causing problems with depth but in the locker room as well. Players are second guessing there coaching Staff which is never a good thing especially this early in the season. There is now only one senior forward on the roster. However that number is expected to change to two when their football players return. What began as an optimistic year for the eagles is starting to look extremely grim

I don't want to name names because of the public use of this website. And it's a touchy subject. However they were unjustified and should not have been made.

Interesting call by the TG coach, and my bad for asking. The coach must have a lot of faith in his underclassmen.

I guess so, Colpitts did. And Louiselle plays football so he still has a tryout.
