Just another uber superior team in the state much like Moorhead from the Lee, Vandevelde years. Recall that team was knocked off in the finals in St. Paul to the surprise of many. no need to make any logical analysis of the 7-0 loss it just is a fact of life that teams like this come around once in a while.
I agree Minnetonka was superior, no doubt. I also agree that Minnetonka is the best team in all of hockey, right now. We all know Tonka could've poored it on and made it 15-0 but they didn't. What I'm trying to say is maybe the Hibbing players thought of it as playing better in the 2nd and 3rd even though Tonka pulled back the reins. No doubt this is hockey's best and seeing them play was a total treat. Yes there out of Hibbings league but playing those types of team's is good as it will only make you better in the long run. I am a firm believer that if you play tought schedule you'll be better off than weak schedule teams come playoff time.
