I hope your horrid spelling was somehow intentional.Hankya wrote:STA comes with too much for WBL. #21 is gonna start paying the price for playing cheep. Yep, I said it, cheeeeeeeep. What is with all the cheep shots and stick action? Play the game like it should be played. STA 4, WBL 2

WBL has a chance with STA if Wahlin's line matches up with STA's top lines but so far Wahlin's line has had trouble with all the top lines they have faced this year. Most of the goals scored on WBL have been on Wahlin's line which has a bad habit of not back checking and with soft D and Goalies this year this habit is catching up with WBL.

Nobody cared to respond to this but I guess I was pretty right on about this one. Sager has got to go. The Bears are horrible!!besthockeyfan wrote:Who cares, the Bears are horrible this year and STA will toy with them!formerlybackofnet wrote:Do the Bears stand a chance?

mnpuckster??? Please don't be negative, as I am the one that gets accused of it!!!mnpuckster wrote:The Bears were AWFUL. All around. Sager must go, if anything, just to change things up. The D-men have no clue where to be and how to play.
Look at the bright side!!!! They weren't awful... St. Thomas is just that good.
Looks like shots were in STA's favor of 29-22... STA has some nice players... Time for them to move up to AA..

I agree that STA is very very good. But as good as they are, the Bears are that bad. 11 straight to HM, and it looks like the program is shifting in the wrong direction. 7 goals on 29 shots is also brutal. Change of pace is needed, which should involve a new head coach. Sager and his sweater must go

How long does it take for a program to decline? 11 games represents the past 6 yrs or so?
An assistant turned Cretin around? They have always had good athletes now they just started getting some better hockey players in as the East Metro has grown, other then that I don't think you could say he "turned the program around"
