Are you referring to the U.S. women's victory last week over Rochester Century boys 2-1 last week???

I have had enough of listening to my least favorite person Duluth area hockey personality blather on and on and on and on and on and on and on in his monotonous and obnoxious voice about the situation in 7A [sic] and run through every single team up in northeast Minnesota.
What?? Is my HS pal and college roommate Tom Hansen doing the radio broadcast!!! 8-[

I sure wish he were.

No, I'm afraid it's good old Howie Hanson, who has somehow gotten his way onto MSBN. (I thank MSBN for picking this up, but for the love of God find someone else next time you come up to Duluth.)

  Thanks for the shoutout Goldy!

Impressive!

Less than impressive--the Andover goal. :x

I suspect Lee made his way down to the Heritage Center tonight.

Actually, if I would have planned better, would have been a nice trip to Duluth tonight. I'd like to see Decowski myself...

The play-by-play man must have the microphone two rows in front of him.. I can barely hear what he says from my laptop. I can hear the color man ok...... I did hear the play-by-play man make a shout out to the Andover kid that broke his arm.... and "it's not about the points you score as to how you handle adversity."

If I were on the mic, I'd be telling the kid to put some duct tape on that arm, and get his butt back on the ice, and quit being a wussy!!!

2-1 after 1; Hounds PK sure needs work. Shots 13-4 DE...usual story.

Game doesn't seem that lopsided though, from what I can gleam from Mr. Hanson.

If it's not home field advantage...the shots are really 12 to 9. The bookkeeper is favoring the home team. Even game. All goals have been pp. Whoever stays out of the box will win.

With that kind of SOG advantage, we need the win.

Crap. 2-2 final.

East no better than a #2 seed at this point, and an Elk River win over Andover would help them secure that.

Nice shoutout of your own there, Lee.

The outcome, on the other hand...blah. They sure are good at controlling games, but they actually need to win them when they get to sections.

That's what I'd guess too; that game will probably decide the 2 seed. Either way they'll probably be seeing each other again at the DECC.

When was the last time East had anything lower than a 2 seed? Was it in my lifetime?
