You are judging Marshall by how they played a top 10 AA team?

The student section doesn't need to be marked...it's where all the teenagers are sitting together.

As much as I hate stories of disrespect toward the elderly, I don't think this is really disrespectful. Expecting that students in the student section sit down is very silly. They couldn't just move?

and a "hang the jackets" sign is inappropriate?
Didn't some hibbing student rip up those signs??
Doesn't Hibbing always get lectured about their inappropriate chants after every game?
I HAD respect for Hibbing...
what do you think hang means?

atleast we have a student section for chants. We don't rely on our elders for chanting. You have no student section! If you wouldn't have made the inappropriate signs, they never would have got torn down. Don't worry you guys made new signs to replace them and made sure the cop told them not to touch them.

They should have moved! It is clearly marked with a sign on the air duck. It was there last year and still is! You just can't fix stupid! Why should they sit down when that is where they are supposed to sit/stand? We have the biggest student section and we are proud!

Being a Hibbing fan you'd love to see your biggest rival tank in the Semis. I expect Virginia to hope the same goes for Hibbing tonight. If Marshall's goalie shows up this one will be very close. The matchup I am looking at is Marshall Fowards vs. Virginia D. The devils defense has been very good this year and if they slow down Hurley and co. they should have no problem.

Good joke, a kid who leads his team to the state tourney as a Soph is over rated.. Well that means any Hibbing kid to play in the last four years is beyond over rated due to losing in the Finals every year.

I bet he doesn't do anything for scsu. There is a reason UMD backed out, if he was good, they would have took him....

I don't think you can really say that a play on words like 'hang the jackets' is really a threat on someones life...

Well in three years we can debate that, as of right now he is a great High School player, as was Anthony Decenzo.

Hendrickson has good hands and a nice shot but he shy's away form the physical game. You play the body on him and he disappears. And I think Jamnick is and always will be a better hockey player than Hendrickson. One player does not win you a section championship, an entire team does. Big time players show up in big time games, we'll see if he shows up today against Marshall.

Yes Jamnick was another good H.S player, then again he is playing at Providence, no knock on Providence it is where one of the better Cloquet players (David Brown) in the last 5 years is at. But I think St. Cloud is a much better hockey school then Providence. St. Cloud always seems to get high quality single A players (Leblanc, Hanowski, Festler, Hendrickson, etc.).

You're precious little Jackets gotta get past International Falls first, I'd worry about that and not Virginia.

Because Im a Hibbing fan means I can't worry about the Marshall v. Virginia game. What I'm saying is we want you lose and you want us lose, thats the way it works in this kind of a rivalry. I think your team will win but them having a huge letdown would probably make my afternoon. Then when Hibbing defeats Falls it will make my day.

Either that or your scared you can't beat Virginia.. I am a Cloquet guy and personally would love to see my team playing East in the Finals. Rivalry games in the section final make for a great show, unfortunately C-E-C has been down the last two years so it won't happen this year.

Hibbing has already beaten Virginia this season so say "we're scared" is an invalid point. I love the rivarly and I'd love to see Hibbing get back at Virginia and avenge last season's loss. But ask any Hibbing fan if Virginia falters in the Semi's no one will be disapointed.

Fine scared they can't beat Virginia again. If Virginia loses they will be relieved because they would be playing a team of lesser quality in the finals, Duluth Marshall.
