I don't think anyone is writing Cloquet off after one game either, not if you've been a hockey fan from northern MN for a good number of years. I wouldn't take a Dave Esse coached club lightly if they were 2-23 going into the quarterfinals.

I think the section is going to be back on the map this season and fully expect to see Cloquet, Grand Rapids coming along this season to possibly challenge Forest Lake, Elk River and East for a shot at playing in a semi-final and possible title game. Time will tell what we have for a section and it is very fun when the section is deep I hope and think it will unfold this season to be a good 7AA section.
Reports I got is that Rapids out played Cloquet last night. Both teams will progress just fine this year.
