Nope, my boys have moved on from hockey. I am just a long time hockey fan watching the neighbors boy and made some observations.

As for Burnsville against CP, I have no idea.

This game was very similar to the Bears game the previous night vs CP. Bears control play and are in the offensive zone majority of the game, but everytime the opponent gets into the Bears zone, it ends up a goal. As mentioned by a previous post, Bears defense does lack speed.
White Bear lost a forward to a concussion in their Thursday night game so they were forced to skate two centers for the remainder of the weekend which included the Burnsville game. I'm not sure this constitutes shortening the bench. They still rolled three sets of wings and all 6 D like they have done all season long.

My first impression of Burnsville was their utter lack of size. Very small but quick team. However they got pinned down often in their own end becuase they got pushed off he puck frequently by the larger more physical White Bear team. But like I said, they are a quick team and have a nice transition game. When they do manage to push the puck up the ice, they can turn the tables quickly and catch an agressive, pinching D-core in a bad spot. They should be able to make a deep run but their small size could end up being their achilles heel.

wbl tourney bantams

the Sunday games weren't played following seedings ( the bottom 8 ). They switched teams around so they didn't have to play teams they have seen alot of during their season .

True and not true

not including top for teams

East had Win vs North and tie to Centennial
Centennial had Win vs Wayzata and tie to East.

That puts Lakeville 4th in their pool.

Lets look at other pools #4's Champlin Park, Rochester Red.... take your pick which one is the lowest seed? And then Beat them.

Rochester Beat East on Sunday.

Ep beat WBL
Centennial beat Eastview

So thats how you take 12th become a 11 or 12 seed then loose the game

some teams could have been seeded correctly ,but I know some coaches asked if they could play certain teams so they didn't have to play a team that they have already played alot this season.
