D6 and D9 each got an additional seed from D4 (this year only) because D4 had only one Bantam A team. It was a fluke and won't happen again.crw wrote:as much as i think any one of the the D6 teams can compete for the state championship i think its a joke that D6 and D9 each get 4 births. i bet if you ask a team that lost out because their district only got 2 bids if their 3rd team would travel they would say yes.....i know i will get ripped for this but really???SuperStar wrote:There are 4 seeds from D6 going to regions. Last year at the Bantam A level D4, D8. D9 made up the South Region. D4 only had 1 Bantam Team Luverne, they took 1 of 2 D4 Spots. The other D4 spot went to D8 giving them 4 seeds..... This year was not a fluke, D4 does not have the teams at the Bantam level. Evey year what ever Region D4 is assigned to will have non -Std seeds.Bluewhitefan wrote:D6 and D9 each got an additional seed from D4 (this year only) because D4 had only one Bantam A team. Next Year the South Region is made up of D4, D9 and D5... D4 is supposed to send 3 teams. If they only field 1 Bantam A team again you have the same situation as this and last year, the other Regions picking up spots.

I believe I implied that in my original message...
I Didn't understand why they did and someone politely explained it, which I thanked them for doing..

So I take it that the Woodbury coaches didn't throw their hats on the ice since they only scored 2 goals in the game today?????
Not this time
Not sure if it's true, but somebody told me the same kid scored the two goals in this game.
I don't know how there earlier matchups were but Rosemount looked better in this game. [/quote]

What up Sibley? All those amazing Bantam A players we've been reading about. All the amazing former fire players. Shutout by a lower ranked Farmington team?
Sibley was extremely overrated, they might of had 2 good players. Too bad they couldnt follow through with all their "superstars'
