Both Blades and Gold carry and rotate 2 goalies. It had something to with it, but really the difference between the two games came down to one factor:InThePipes wrote:What was the difference? The players involved were 8 and 9 years old.

Both games were well played and even for the most part. Play 10 times and they probably each win 5. Lots of talent on D, up front, and in goal for both teams.
Too bad a quirky tiebreaker system made their 2nd game the semifinal instead of the championship.
The reason he was taken out of the game was he had 1 penalty, and then recieved a boarding call which equal 2 penalty's and the rules is 3 penalty's and out.
