If Brainerd is looking for something to kick they might need to turn to Crosby/Ironton, and even then it wouldn't be a sure thing.

Hey bluesy - still waiting to hear the some stats to back up your claim of Braindeads hockey prowess. Mr. Sandy Smith is about the only big name to come out of this town - maybe the "locals" can try to "buy" a few quality players from around the state to help bolster the braggerts on this fine forum. Hey blues you look alot younger in your picture than in person must be highly photogenic lol. Angus the list is mighty long and hallowed . Probably longer than all small falls sports put together unless you count refs and umps.

I think what our freind GR19 is trying to say is that Brainerd Fans shouldn't be allowed to cheer. GR19 does not get the loyalty and competitivness that the fans bring to the game. Not just Brainerd Fans but all fans in general. I would love to see GR19 step foot into the Brainerd student section and voice his opinion. It seems you are a mini-celebrity among the Brainerd Students, you said you would be at the game on Tuesday, perhaps you saw the three signs adressed to you?? I can assure you they were beautifully tastless. In a game where a 200 lb. kid can run over somone going full speed on ice, with a stick, and two blades in his possesion, for one to say that a HOCKEY player can't take some verbal abuse is obserd. I can guarentee you that any HOCKEY player would take a verbal lashing rather than an open ice blindside hit. Time to suck it up GR19, it seems the players are.

I was not at the game, I decided to wait til January to go to Minnesota. I did hear about the signs. Pathetic. Bring signs to a game about that has to do with a message board??? Makes the W even more sweet. Wish I could have seen the look on their faces when Stejskal buried the empty netter.
