I think both goalies have had their good and bad moments. How many times has Hermantown helped Breck by missing great opportunities? Just feel like there is a difference between last night's overtime game and this one being that last night just felt like Wayzata was going to win once they got the equalizer and this one feels like no team has the momentum.jeffpv wrote:Hermantown's goalie has been looking pretty shaky to me.
I prefer that the Hawks win, but I have a feeling a juicy rebound from H-town's goalie will sink them.

No offense to the Hermantown kid, but giving a 3rd-liner with 4 goals on the year a penalty shot may have been a better outcome than an actual power play, from Breck's perspective.
Anyone remember the last State Tourney penalty shot? Has there been one since Spehar in 95? I would assume there has, but I don't remember it.

Agreed. Ben Hanowski had one against St. Thomas one of those years.karl(east) wrote:No offense to the Hermantown kid, but giving a 3rd-liner with 4 goals on the year a penalty shot may have been a better outcome than an actual power play, from Breck's perspective.

You're right, this could go either way.dherman8 wrote:I think both goalies have had their good and bad moments. How many times has Hermantown helped Breck by missing great opportunities? It does seem like the Hermantown goalie has problems locating the puck when it's behind the net and gets out of position quite often. The Breck goalie looks more confident as well.
Sweet game!

HERM/BRECK
SHOULD HAVE CALLED HOOKING ON THE BRECK PLAYER, NOT A PENALTY SHOT BECAUSE HE GOT A GOOD SHOT OFF

Good shot? The that trickled off his stick at 1mph wide of the net?
