I'm born, raised and currently reside in Roseau if you hadn't figured that out. Played a little in the youth levels but my family and I have been involved in the hockey community in Roseau for a long time. I maintain a website for the Rams at www.roseauramshockey.com and work with local radio station high school hockey coverage. I grew up in Rochester, watching the many great players who played there in the mid to late 1970's and early 1980's. My brother was an all-Conference defenseman for Rochester Mayo. I currently reside in Madison, Wisconsin.

mitch...how about the badger men this year...i have season tix and it is pretty sad right now...originally from bloomington, i've been down here since september and i love the area, especially campus. I am from St. Paul and root for Como Park. It's nice to see a St.Paul City school with some talent. they are also a very hard working team and have looked good this year. (I know Cretin is in St.Paul but they recruit from all over) The Cougars get them twice this year, should be some good games!

uw, I am confident that the Badgers will be national title contenders again within two years. The road may be a little rocky in the meantime. On the bright side, they have had a very difficult schedule so far and have also lost some heartbreakers, but they have been competing hard each night out. The talent is not quite there yet.

I am from Bloomington, and a BIG Jefferson fan. Auggie09, who are you? do you play? Also I get the idea a lot of people on here atend Jefferson, if so, speak up. Jefferson vs Kennedy should be a doozy this year!

Duluth, MN...lived here all my life. Grew up on the Lake Superior shore. I bleed Red and Grey (this year with East's problems, I just weep, no more bleeding<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> ) Mitch, to change the topic, what's your take on Nick Licari this season? I see he's scored a few goals but missed seeing them when they came up here last month to play the Dogs.

i am not mitch, but i think i can add a little insight. I have been to all badger home games this year. He plays pretty often and even sees time on the power play. He is extremely quick and throws his body around. But his size hurts him tremendously as he gets tossed around his fair share(especially against mn last weekend). Although his size will limit his success, with a few more pieces, i think the badgers will become more successful and licari will become even more productive.

Mitch and UW- Tom Gilbert, defenseman for the Badgers, from Jefferson, seems to be having one hell of a year. He is a 4th round draft pick of the AVs, what do you see him doing the next 4 years and in the pros...?

Licari and Gilbert are already two of the Badgers' better players. Licari is the shortest and lightest Badger but I know that some Badger fans have suggested putting him in front of the net on the power play because he is one of the grittiest players on the team with good skill and excellent hockey sense. Gilbert is extremely poised with the puck and also has great hockey sense. Another Badger freshman from Duluth, Tom Sawatske - who came here via the NTDP, adds quite a bit of mobility on the blueline. The freshmen (who also include two talented Western Canadians and two hard working Wisconsin natives with some promise) are the Badgers strongest class, a blessing for the future but not a recipe for a lot of success this year.

I am from Apple Valley. Played there in high school, but now I am going to school in Madison...having to watch the badgers get pummeled every weekend<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ohwell.gif ALT=":\"> . I currently have a brother on the Apple Valley team so I still follow them and watch them when I am in town. One side note...Apple Valleys quick start is a complete surprise to me, after they graduated almost their entire team last year.

Just an overall Minnesota High School Hockey fan. Played High School Hockey in Minnesota and College Hockey out East. I especially like to follow the teams in the Northwest Suburbs. Live in Elk River.

Lived some of my earlier years in Elk River. But now live in Thief River Falls. I still play the game i am a Bantam A, are team is pretty good we went to state two years ago. Look for TRF in 2005-2006. I love the game i eat, sleep, breathe hockey its means almost everything to me. Some teams other than TRF i like are..Edina (always like em') Cloquet (started likeing them last year) Apple valley (had a thing for the eagles, have relatives there) Rochester Lourdes (liked them since around 1999) Duluth Marshall (been there seen them) <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... lasses.gif ALT="8)">
