I definitely count the losses as part of the season. If I remember correctly, they lost about 5 games that year. I believe 3 in a row at one point. Unless you count the losses to Chisholm and Aurora Hoyt Lakes.
They were able to pick up momentum as the post season went on though.
And since we are on post number 1981 I will mention that was the season that GR and Jefferson played an awesome quarterfinal into OT with Jefferson getting their dynasty cranked up after that win. My first game ever in person at the Civic Center.
