Caught 3rd period of EP vs HF. 3-1 EP win. Very even 3rd without much scoring chances. EP probably won’t put much of a fight for a state title but they did have a decent control of the possession time. Outshot HF 32-19 and finished the win with an empty netter with 20 seconds to go. HF had 1 chance at the end but the puck probably touched the goal line with 35 seconds left before it was kicked out of the crease. Thiiiiiis close. Hopefully the Edina game will be close.

Edina vs BSM. 0-0 after 1. Scoring chances 8-4 Edina with shots 8-4 as well. Edina had 5 grade A chances in the first few minutes then BSM settled down. Edina has their best chance in the last minute. BSM started to float a forward high and cheat a bit. This looks to have stretched the Edina D a bit so they can’t press. Good decision. BSM turned the game by doing that. We’ll see what happens in the 2nd if Edina adjusts.
