Does anyone have any details on how the HS streaming season pass works for mnhockeytv? Say I wanted to split the cost of a season pass with a couple people, can we all stream games simultaneously? Information is kind of vague on their site.

Hey, I'm willing to play within whatever rules they have established. If it's only a single stream at a time per account, then that's fine too, just weighing the options. What's frustrating is there is no information for how this is going to work for the price they are asking, which is a big deterrent. Is there going to be any commentary or audio? All I have gathered is that it's a motion tracking camera used for video.

They had it some last year. I think I watched the Hill game vs St. Michael Albertville that was a Christmas Tourney game, but it got moved arenas due to snow, if I recall correctly. And there was a camera that followed the action on its own. It wasn't great, but I've seen human shot games (mostly at STA) that left the camera on a wall for 5 minutes too. And my recollection is there wasn't an announcer. Still was better than watching desert flowers bloom here in Southern Cal.

Right, some of it is trial and error and if you contact the provider I'm guessing they'll tell you exactly what you're getting. It's not always free, but when you consider buying a ticket to a typical game is $6-$8, the prices for some of these streaming packages aren't too bad. In my opinion, having any announcer regardless of their ability is often better than just watching the Live Barn type feed.

Thanks guys for the input - just have to ask myself now if the stream is worth it or to take a rain check on the season and come back when things are back to "normal".
