The speculation begins. Hibbing is loaded. Are they gonna run it back?

Really? Not much moving up and I think they lose the Proctor kid (my guess) at least.east hockey wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2026 2:34 pmNext year, (as I throw up in my mouth) I think Hermantown takes 7Aheadsupsticksdown wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2026 2:32 pm The speculation begins. I get the emotions but not a fan of pulling the runner up medal off your neck in disgust. A lot of emotions I get it. But you think those kids (even you all last year) wouldn’t give it all up to be able to play in the final? Heads up Jackets!!

Absolutely great championship game. It doesn’t get any better than that. Congrats to Warroad. Congrats to Hibbing.

Tough when someone has to lose. Both teams very deserving and have been waiting a while for another trophy, Hibbing since 73 though so I would have liked to see them hoist it.

Hats off to Warroad for winning the title. Just an outstanding game.
Couldn't be more proud of this group of Hibbing kids. Class A has been dominated by teams from Class AA-sized metro areas for 20+ years, so it was awesome to see Hibbing get as far as they did with a true small town community team. They didn't play AA at youth levels only to drop down for high school, they didn't load up on talent outside their school district, and they weren't out recruiting transfer portal ringers in the offseason. If they were going to lose, I'm glad it was to Warroad, for the players on that team were the same ones I'd seen all throughout youth.
Again, congratulations to the Warriors on getting it done; hopefully we will get a re-match in next year's title game.
