Koren
Yea it was tough to drop him that far. I just wanted to go out on a limb.
I was thinking this:
-The Texans want to make a splash with this pick and help out David Carr. And Reggie Bush could be a very good receiver too, and Andre Johnson needs help, although they did just get Eric Moulds.
-The Saints want a franchise left tackle to protect Drew Brees, and after taking Jamal Brown last year they have bookend taclkes for years to come.
-Titans are obviously looking QB, although they might be tempted to take the best player on the board (Williams) I doubt they could pass up a franchise QB.
-Jets see power in the name Vince Young and he is just too sexy of a pick. We all know how the Jets fans would boo not taking he or Leinart were they available.
-Packers have their hearts set on Hawk.
-49ers get a steal.

All that said I agree with you, I have a hard time seeing him drop to 6th. But I had nothing to lose with this mock draft, so I thought I would stir some contoversy at the top.

Re: Koren
Breaking news reports that the Texans have come to an agreement with Mario Williams. He will be the # 1 pick.

Re: Koren
Great pick Houston. Mario is the better pick for them. But, like those trades, that pick messes up my daggone top 10.

Re: Koren
I was a fan of the Vikings first two picks today, but the next 2 were a little sketchy. But as they say, we won't really know until 5 years down the road.

Re: Koren
sorry koren, but thats why i never crizitize anybody elses draft speculations, you never know what could happen.

i had a feeling they were going to take williams vikings suprised me, but obviously they see something in those players that we havent heard of, i just disagree with their selections, except that center, they needed a new good center, and he might be able to glog up the middle like our Doctor (matt birk) could once do. he just wont be as smart sadly

Re: Koren
The only pick I don't like is the Cook one. Greenway is a solid pick, Griffin is solid, and Jackson gets his own paragraph (look at next paragraph for him). But Cook does not impress me. There were so many other guys that we could of had there.

The Tarvaris Jackson pick. I was shocked when it happened, and initially didn't like that we traded up to get him. But then I learned a little bit about him and saw Jaworski break down his tape, and he is going to be a stud. He might have the best arm in the draft, and has 4.65 speed to go with it. He reminds me a lot of Steve McNair. He will need to develop, but he will be a star for the Vikings for the next decade or so.
