I fear that one toast is not sufficient to that piece of work that is Frank's rug. Hell, it deserves its own shrine. I love how the spotlights emphasize just how much his rug doesn't match what's left of his natural hair. I love the guy as an announcer, but I can't help but chuckle every time he's in front of the camera. I will however give a toast to Lucia, solely for his creepy, "I'm going to stare into the camera to answer your question instead of look at you like a normal person" routine. Anyone going to be at Tom Reid's today? I'm planning on it, I'll be wearing a white KFAN hat with a sticker that says 'ChrisK' on it. If anyone wants to meet at the X, in front of the Wild's store (is that the Lodge?), I'll stop in front of there for about 15 minutes after the end of the Wayzata-Tartan game and then head over to TR's. If this goes like previous years, I anticipate 15 minutes of ogling Wayzata and Tartan hockey babes followed by 2 hours of ineffective hitting on hockey moms at TR's.

Well boys, the head count wasnt vey high. But the level of conversation was up there with the highest. Videoscout<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/pimp.gif ALT=":hat"> didnt have his hat on but we still managed to hook up. He and slappy were presented with an award from the Warroad folks from Franks. It was quite touching. I know ChrisK had to choke back tears. It sememd like the longer we were there, the smarter we got about all of the topics discussed. Hopefully it will be the first annual and more will join next year.

I sure wish I could have joined you and VS tells me that he will keep the award in good shape for me and it ain't easy to know that Frank and Henry and Coach and Spanky and Tom Reid and Joe and Chris and the rest were all there, but as you may have heard via VS there was a sudden death in the Minnesota Hockey Family when we lost a great man by the name of Coach Bill Sullivan so say a prayer for Fr. Pat ( his son ) and the rest of their family and I will let him know that Warroad among many others are with him in spirit. Coach Bill Sullivan I believe held the single game scoring record at UND for many years if I'm not mistaken but that will be another story to tell when the tourney is done. For those of you who want to know the funeral will be at 2:00pm Monday March 15 in Crookston at the Cathedral. Prayer service at 7:00pm tomorrow ( Sunday ) Have fun today boys! Life is short! Coach Sullivan was like a second father to me back in the days. Fr. Pat (my life long friend) is a great friend to everyone he meets. Slapshooter I didn't know Coach Sullivan but have known Pat for about 15 years. If Pat is a chip of the ol' block than his father had to be a heck of a guy. My condolences. If you see Pat at the funeral pass them on to him from me. Elliott in Bemidji

I will elliot. Father Pat was also a pretty darn good player and is still involved in the game. All American at SCSU I believe. Not too many from the great NORTHWEST that aren't familiar with Pat, as is true with his dad also. Gave me the best 'silver platter' pass that a guy could want to tie it up against St. Paul Hill to send the semi final into overtime up in Duluth back in '69. We cried like babys (in the locker room) after Conroy from St. Paul Hill put in a long slapper from the red line in overtime just like we will again no doubt during the next few days. Hoping to spend time with Pat tonight in front of the tube to watch the Championship Game as Pat and his brother Bill Jr. ( Billy ) would have probably been in St. Paul this weekend if not for their Fathers sudden passing. A lot of Hockey folks will be in attendance at the funeral on Monday I'm sure. S<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/nerd.gif ALT="8o"> S

I was hoping to meet the great SlapShooter this weekend, but had a good time at TR's yesterday with VS and joe lulic. Almost didn't make it in time to the Excel for my ticket connection! My condolences go out to Slapshooter and the Sullivan family.
