exactly my point, thank you

Re: Hopkins
Let me see if I understand this.

BSM was stupid and cut a great player. Agreed.

Some people at Hopkins wanted to build a team around this great player and decided to "screw over" their core team of 5-6 kids in order to win at any cost. Agreed.

Where is everyone now?

The great player is screwed.
The 5-6 core players are screwed.

What did cheating get?

Several people screwed.

I feel sorry for the kids who registered for Hopkins Jr Gold B hockey in November or early December and then got shoved aside for the so-called superstar BSM kids. These original Hopkins kids rode the bench all season while some overage kids were brought on to win at all costs. The bench warmers are the kids who completely lost out. What a shame! Everyone knowingly involved in this ought to be ashamed of themselves.

Re: Hopkins
BTW

HopkinsJGB87

If I am reading the MHL meeting minutes correctly, you are mistaken about the over-age players having little or no impact. Your 2nd best player, number 24 was one of the college age players on your team. I suspect he was your second leading scorer behind #29. He's the reason Hopkins got busted.

Re: Hopkins
Oh,

and #24 was a forward, not a defenseman.

Animal House
Sounds like "animal house"

They were on "double secret" probation earlier this season.

Then they didn't show up for a scheduled game with Forest Lake.

Then several of their opponents recognized a player on their bench who had graduated last year (its a small world). After an investigation, they found three post-high school players on their team, including #24.

'nuff said, its all over, but the crying
