This match up is probably the biggest rivalry in duluth, and probably the only rivalry in duluth...so it should be a great game to watch... there should be a lot of emotion, i will take the toppers over the hawks 4-2

East vs Cloquet is a BIGGER rivalry then Marshall and Hermantown. They play each other to go to State, and the rivalry has been going on for a long.....long....time.

True... even though Cloquet isn't in Duluth, but that is always a fun game to watch

DM will be #1 until STA beats Mahtomedi, Then 1 week later @ HM and then Minnetonka which DM lost to this year. Then STA takes #1 seed thru the end. :)

Then STA is legit.

if DM wins this game you can't give the #1 to STA if they beat tonka just because DM lost to them, DM beat CDH who beat STA? so that wouldnt make that much sense

Toppers: 6

Hawks: 2
Ya we'll see. Hermantown might have a weak schedule, but they've worked every "weak" team they've played. I think it's been a big boost to their confidence and they have a big advantage in this one.

Hawks - 6

Toppers -3

If you had read further, you would've have noticed the additional games for STA vs. Hill and Minnetonka. If they beat Mahtomedi, Hill and Minnetonka over the next four games, I believe they should be #1

The issue at hand for DM and Hermantown is strength of schedule. STA took Edina into OT before losing. Edina is a solid team.

easily the best 2 class A teams right now
they are 1 and 2 going into the game and will be 1 and 2 coming out of it

I beg to differ. This is one of the few competitive teams Hermantown plays.

If Marshall takes this one into running time (which isn't out of the question) then I wouldn't be surprised if Hermantown drops more than a few spots. There's just not a lot to compare them to after this.
That is all,

Better get there early because they're packin as many people as possible in the rink. I just picked up my tickets and it sounds like they're flyin off the shelves.

Technical Difficulties

WDSM seems to be having "Technical Difficulties" quite often as the game seems to come in and out. Weird. I hope they get it figured out soon! :D
