brainerd game

Post by watchdog »

roseau lost to brainerd 4-3 brainerd is very fast and has some very skilled players. look to be a good team and should be tuff down the stretch. on the other hand i know brainerd thinks the same of roseau and could have easily lost this game. they wont take roseau to be a push over in region play.

Yeah Roseau got off to a bad start. Brainerd scored two quick goals on the second and third shifts and Roseau called a timeout from that point on Roseau won the game. Roseau didnt come ready at the drop of the puck and paid for it

i wouldnt say from that point on..brainerd scored another goal about 3 shifts after their timeout..after that it was even play for the rest of the second..roseau really picked it up by scoring a couple with brainerd answering back with a goal..brainerds goalie had a very good game, keeping them in there for the rest of the 3rd
now let me finish my coffee...

The Roseau Bantam "A" team is really hitting their stride at the right time of the year. Plenty of scoring punch with their top 2 lines. Defense is steadily improving. They have clawed their way to the #1 spot in District 16. If Roseau can keep playing like they have been, they will be a team to make a lot of noise through both MAHA and VFW playoffs.
