So because the coaches say Edina's the best team they should get the gaurenteed easiest schedule? How many Roseau or Grand Rapids games do you think the coaches of Roch, Edina, etc see this year? You need a random draw on the lower four, or the metro teams have an out and out advantage because 9 times out of 10 they'll get the higher ranking. If ranking's showed anything this year its that it's not that accurate with Hill and Edina both losing.

I thought Edina's goalie was supposed to be so good. He got his pocket picked twice tonight.

I think thats just it, the overall pool in the AA bracket is much closer in ability than A, thats why weve had "upsets" in the AA side.

I thought hill had the easy draw , but there you go .
i'm an Edina guy ,but it was men against boys tonight.
Rapids with solid D and a straight to the net style that left Edina's fancy dancers over passing and unable to penetrate . The Rapids were certainly Grand tonight . Good luck the rest of the way.

Yes, the #1 seed should have the easiest schedule. That is how seeding works. The seeded teams losing shows the field is close this year. However, point taken.

I think the rankings were fine. Grand Rapids was seeded based on how they played the whole season, not just games Patrick White played. Century has a fine team, but didn't show it until later in the season. Same with Burnsville.

Stifiling defense by Rapids and some solid saves by Rapids goalie. Very nice game for the Thunderhawks.

Oh well.... Even though I hate Rapids I'd rather have a Section 7 team win it all then them.

Yeah, where are all the Rapids is overrated/overhyped people now(DFORCE)? How about the people calling for Reider's head and to put the backup in? I'm guessing we won't hear of those folks anymore. Get ready for a nordern finals boyz! :D Gonna be great! PB was dead on, something wonderful was set to happen and it doesn't get much better than this :!:

Roseau and Rapids have a lot of work on Friday night before they can think about Saturday night. I agree though, it would be great if it came to that.
