I'm drop dead serious. Park Rapids doesn't play a tough enough schedule to win a section championship. They haven't played 3 high caliber teams all year but to win section 8a they need to play 3 in a row. You can use this as Bulletin board material all you want Park WILL NOT WIN SECTION 8a. it just isn't going to happen. Reaching the section finals is possible but highly unlikely.
I 2nd that, if PR makes through the 1st game it will be a major up-set.
First game a major upset??......that makes NO sense

It does still say " Will Park Rapids lose before sections".....which people automatically think it says "will park rapids lose in sections"....so I would suggest someone go makes a thread about what everyone is talking about

Your team may beat or even tie them during the regular season but when it's time to play some real hockey they aren't so hot. I mean if you want to look at the regular season games then the Vikings should be in the NFC and AFC championship they destroyed the Chargers and The Giants. The regular season is just a tune up and the big 4 of Bemidji, EGF, TRF, and Warroad are the ONLY teams that will represent Section 8a at the state tournament this year.
Bemidji? hahaha.....good one

The best joke I've heard all year is the one where Park Rapids thinks they can win sections. Now that is a joke of all jokes.

Section Games
Bemidji 3wins 2 losses
-LOW 9-2
-EGF 2-5
-TRF 2-0
-Warroad 0-5
Crookston 3-1

Park Rapids 5-0
Walker 8-1 *
EGF 6-5 OT **
Bagley 5-1 *
Hallock 6-1 *
RLF 3-1 *

** Everyone knows the story here.
* Bemidji plays and beats these teams in Bantams, with their B team.

Bemidji and Park Rapids scrimmaged in November.
5 to 5 by some accounts; 6 to 4 Bemidji by other accounts.
PR is lead by upperclassman. Bemidji has 8, 9 and sometimes 10 sophs /freshman dressed.

Bemidji has a couple of losses to Moorhead, a loss to Coon Rapids and Hibbing.
Park Rapids big game this week is with Pequot-Crosby-Ironton.

TRF, EGF, Bemidji and Crookston are not laughing. They are working hard trying to prepare for Warroad.

Without Lehrke, where is PR? Well, I hope they are working hard, too.

When is Bemidji going to actually win something. For the size of their youth program they stink almost every year at the varsity level. Good for Bemidji winning those bantam B games against the small towns, maybe someday Bemidji can move back up to 8AA were they should be competing with towns closer to their size.

How big is Bemidji's youth program?
How much bigger is the City of Bemidji than EGF or Thief River Falls?
Why, when by definition of the MSHSL, they are an A school should they 'move back up'? They also get a reduced number because of low income families. And it is common knowledge it takes a little bit of money to participate in hockey.
Roseau, Bemidj, East Grand Forks, Thief River Falls, Warroad, Crookston, Lake of the Woods, Red Lake Falls, Bagley and Hallock. That's the order of size inyouth programs in District 16. Not much difference in 1 - 4. Not much difference in 5, 6 & 7. Not much difference in 8, 9 & 10,

Recruit- it is a fact I haven't ever seen Park at a state tournament in hockey. So it is a fact and it will hold true. PARK Rapids will not win section 8a. Don't take it personal. You really get worked up when people on this board say Park Has no chance. I know think deep down you have several doubts about your teams chances.

Considering they've been in the top 4-5 the past 5 years in this Section I'd say you need to spend more time doing some research and less time smoking that funny stuff..

Right, neut, the PR homeboy.

IS, I don't think I'm gettin' anything out of him.

Just curious on Knapp and his line and Tolle.

I am sure Lehrke got 2 or 3 points.
