I've got 2 things for ya Slap, one you deserve and the other you need to know.<br><br>1. I accused you of having made a racist comment in regards to your slam on the Jag goalie Lee which contained the "WOC" tag. I want you and anybody else who cares on this board to know that I retract that, and (gritting my teeth) apologize to you as it is true that artwork of the "WOC" is indeed painted on the rear of his mask. I will have to give you the benefit of the doubt that your comment, while still stupid & hollow, was not motivated by anything personal or otherwise. Perhaps you didn't realize the kid's lineage, only you know that I suppose. <br><br>2. On the flip side, we're sick of whiny people like you slandering our students simply for being great and enthusiastic fans, but because we care about them and our opponents, we called the Moorhead PD and quite a few Moorhead people for their opinion of what happened. They told us that the bottom line is that kids from both sides were trading not so brutal jabs, it seemed to be all in fun, wee little kids were not being harassed, but some parents decided to get involved with not so accurate info and the Jag students were moved and spoken to strictly as a preventative measure, and to bury the issue with the parents as a matter of settling everybody down and getting the game over without an incident. They said that Jefferson had "nothing to worry about." Plenty of Jefferson parents and fans know plenty of Moorhead parents and fans, and not one of them who has been asked about this had anything to report other than it was just a stupid misunderstanding by people who perhaps just don't like Jefferson, or seem to get off thumping their chests, or just overreacted. Maybe absolutely everything floating around your lobby is not completely accurate? <br><br>Down here, we realize that many in your town don't like us because we own you when it really counts, and we have quite a few banners hanging at BIG that you can only dream about. Maybe its me but I think some people are getting a little uptight about their team losing some of its past glory. They have, after all, only been to the X once in the past five years. Even then, I think it was two and out. So, they bring up the good old days, which at this point are closer to a generation ago than to present times. Kind of like the 30 year old former football star that still wears his letterman jacket around town. Maybe they ought to make a movie "Remember the Jaguars" to remind everyone. Heck, using that logic, we should all fear Eveleth (no offense Bears).<br><br>These kids were toddlers when the Jefferson owned Moorhead "when it counts". Their parents were laughing at Hillary trying to fix health care. They were wondering if Republicans would ever get a majority in Congress. Man, that seems like a long time ago.
