I said if they dont get their sh-it together they will loose their next 3 koonta. We will see how they do against Kitson Central, its always embarrasing to lose to them.

Koonta I wasn't just being a jerk when I said Wadena was a below average team, I don't consider LF to be anything more than average. PageStat2 ratings have LF at #59 in the state and that is average and nothing to cheer about. Wadena is at #110 and that is below average and definitely nothing to blow your horn about. Its commendable to back your team but you have to be realistic. The true facts are that section 4A is a weak section this year with only three teams to even consider. With FF rated at #90 they aren't scheduling any parades either. Do I think Wadena can knock LF out of the playoffs, sure but I don't see it happening because I honestly don't think Wadena has the kids to pull it off. My prediction is that Wadena may very well get knocked off by a motivated FF team and LF will have to contend with them for the section title with FF more than capable of beating LF. Thats just my take on things like it or not. As far as this cyclone 16 kid shooting his mouth off it was embarrassing.

Flagman you've been breathing in way to much zamboni fume. The schedule facts you put together are like comparing apples and oranges. You might as well throw in the St. Cloud Huskies stats. LF plays St. Cloud Tech on Tues., Wadsville have any opponents of that caliber on their schedule? I realize there isn't much Wadsville can do about their schedule now but dropping some of the tomato can teams and picking up teams like Tech would put the Wadsville program into a positive direction for the future. Kids learn much more playing against good teams than they do dominating poor teams. Beating tomato cans may be good for stats and egos but its not good for the overall program. Any changes being made for next years schedule? (Actually your list was kind of interesting.)

Jiggs makes a great point in saying that Wadena doesn't play anyone that is of the same caliber as St. Cloud Tech. VMIB is the best team Wadena will face all season, and VMIB lost to Tech by 5. I'm not trying to start a whole score comparison. I'm just saying that Tech is far and away better than wadenas best opponent. Unless of course, Little Falls is wadenas best opponent. little falls plays st. cloud tech, brainerd, alex, st cloud apollo and river lakes twice each year, all AA teams. wadsville has never played a AA team except for maybe river lakes. if little falls kept their players from pierz, they could be AA too!

lets not get into this banter again...this isnt an argument about AA being better than single A. and again, wadena would love to play better teams, they just are not able to right now. they have to play cia and pequot because of conference stuff, but they are trying to get better teams. virginia and eveleth both want to play them again next year, so hopefully they can keep improving the schedule and it will help in the long run.

Wadena could play Mhd , Warroad , Cent , WBL , and lose to them , but it doesn't make them a better team ! L.Fs , F.F , and Wadena are the same caliber teams , which either one can bump the other one off on any given night , and theres other teams out there in our section that can do that too !! And yes , I might have had to much Zamboni fumes !! LOL !!! One thing I'm wondering about , What if Wadena beats L.Fs , in a couple of weeks ,who would be seeded first ? Flagmanonice.

set back in the schedule, it sounds as though fergus is not playing wadsville next year. joining the central lakes doesnt leave games availible, they must be keeping as many section 8 games as possible. To bad wadena was just getting to the point of giving them a good game the last 2 years.Hope they didnt keep crookston on their list. Should make the pairings meeting interesting with out the section head to head games. Well adding virginia and eleveth again next year is great, now we need to replace fergus.

oh yeah going by the pagestat littlefalls is 3 to 2 more likely to lose to a team ranked below them than above them.

Roseau wins 6-5 in OT. Fergus once again not closing teams out. were winning 3-0 at one point and i think 5-3 at another point. Roseau only lost to warroad 3-1 so i s'pose it should be seen as a good thing to only lose to them in OT. Vennerstrom played and I question the call to do that as Kalar played very good played Very well the night before, but that's not my decision to make. Mike did stop a penalty shot in OT, but at the same time let up some questionable goals. Another game Fergus should've won no question.

Yeah, time is running out to get this crap together Fergus, if you don't learn how to do it soon, it will be another short season..............beating Roseau 3-0, I don't care if you're beating Moorhead 3-0, if you are up 3-0, there is no excuse to lose................and yeah, I kinda think that coach Donoghue thinks he has more goalies than he has, come on, use ONE and let it go, what is the point?????? In any case, Fergus hasn't had a bad bad game since the Red River one, and hasn't lost be more than a goal since Eveleth, says something about their charecter I guess, .........................I don't believe that Fergus isn't playing Wadena, but, I guess they still wanted to play games in the Marrucci Conference too, you know, teams up north play in the Marriucci and in the school's conference too..........

Blah blah blah Wadena will not step on Little Falls' home ice and beat them before the section playoffs begin. Oh yeah I am going to buy my state tourney tickets today so I can watch Little Falls play at the X

Hate to make excuses but there are some things that happened to Fergus in that Roseau game. First off Fergus's starting goalie, Eric Swenson, has a pulled hamstring. Pretty tough to play goalie with a pulled hammy. That's why the other two are playing Oldschool. Also the otters lost 2 of there main defenseman. Schwarz I believe broke his arm and Kronemann's knee went bad again. Add in the supposed leadership from Mic Johnson, who has spent more time in the box than on the ice this year, and they then played the last period and OT with basically 3 defensemen, two of which haven't had more than 10 shifts all year. So theres my lists of excuses, rip into me as you feel needed.

Still didnt get an answer to the question I asked about Little Falls playing "ANYONE" in the top 15 in A or AA, must not play any, so their schedule isnt anything to brag about either. And you cant compare Warroad vs Roseau and Roseau vs Furgus Falls, because its no where near the same thing, Warroad Roseau is one of the toughest rival games, the underdog usually plays out of their mind. By the way a Furgus parent won $307 in the 50-50 at the Crookston game. When does WDC make that one up, it will be interesting to see how they do against th pirates, Warroad held them to 1 shot in the first period, and 8 shots for the whole game, resulting in 1 goal when the goaly was snoring.

003, sorry dude, but common man, up 3-0, hellooooooooo, keep it going...........I believe that Schwarz pinched a nerve according to a certain girl I work with.........I do believe that Mic Johnson is a leader and he is probably frustrated that you whent up 3-0, 2-0, down only 2-1 to Little Falls, scored 4 unanswered goals against Eveleth but it was too little too late, Beat Fargo South, only lost another early 2-0 lead against Wadena and lost or tied ALL of them. It looks to me like this Otter team is the perverbial Fergus Falls Hockey team in any age level regardless the year that can't get there heads out of their rear ends and win a game that they should win..........excuses I've heard from former Otters, "they were the better team," when we were winning, "the goalie sucks" even though he took us to regions, yes regions the year before.......my favorite: "they are quicker than us".....SO HIT THEM!!!!! Follow through on those hits, make a couple nice passes instead of just throwing it at someone, don't let the other team finish off a 3 pass set, I mean common, after the second pass is done, you gotta know where it is going......and play defense for crying out loud!!!! support the goalie and take the shots away....just believe you can win.............enough................... You guys are right there playing with these teams, over them most of the time, turn that corner and put it away.... Tonight: Fergus Falls at Bemidji.....make it happen boys, the season is runnign thin, you know what you have ot do to beat the section, now just improve and do it....

fastice i suspect youll disappear if wadena beat little falls in your building, probably come back under some other name, by the way what name did you use last year before you got beat by wadena in your arena. I know i sat up and ate my crow soup for old school when i boosted wadena had a shot in the state tourney got your soup ready in case it happens?

Man this is getting old. Puck instead of making slack- jawed moron comments please tell me what Wadena is going to do differntly to beat LF on their home ice. If you were slaughtered in your own building what will Wadena have to do differently to win this time. I'm guessing the LF kids are going to bring the same effort or more and Wadena will definitely have to make some changes. What would they be. Your goalie actually did a pretty good job the first time but didn't get any help from his offense or defense. Other than trying harder or making goofy statements what will the Wadena team need to do to win. Seriously !!

sheidz, nice to hear from you again........... anyway, I was working tonight and didn't hear the end of the game, I heard the end of the first and it wasn't pretty. Bemidji scored a short handed goal, a powerplay goal and an even strength goal to be up 3-0 to end the period. Fergus is without senior defensman Mike Schwarz, I was right, I verified it tonight, he has a pinched nerve in his arm........tough, ......... and for some reason instead of playing the goalie with a game under his bealt from the night before, Vennerstrom, they started with Kalar, who didn't last the entire first period adn Micheal Vennerstrom was in again....I guess Swendson has a pulled hamstring from what I heard before...........I'll look for a final now...........
