Yes, and he probably won't get much bigger. His dad isn't big and his mom has to be about 100 lbs. He's got all the tools though, and from what I hear he's a very hard worker. I guess he can put on a pretty good show in the weight room for a guy his size. I love watching this kid. 2 more years of high school, 4 or less years @ the U, and who knows after that? Hopefully the Wild draft him!wishock wrote:I have to agree with your top pick - Aaron Ness. I saw him at the Roseau DQ last weekend and he is not a big kid, but bigger than Neal Broten was at that age. On the ice he is amazing. He absolutely dominated Patrick White. Others would be Sam Rendle, Tyler Landman, and Mike Lee. Edina obviously has a good group, too.
Who are the best upcoming juniors in the state?

Aaron Ness is just a very special player and I don't see where his size is really a problem because he is just so skilled and smart and can do things that others can't or won't do which diminishes the size issue. He is going to be a treat to watch at Mariucci in a couple of years! I thought he and Zach Budish were clearly the two best players at Model Camp and the two other Edina players, who's names escape me at the present time (sorry)were not far behind. Ryan Walters was also very good but I believe he is a year younger.

I remembered seeing his name on the U17 U.S. team list. I looked it up on one of the other threads.hockeytimetonight wrote:What about Nick Leddy? I have seen his name in other threads recently.
I am guessing he is a decent player.
