Again in 19B pool, the St. Croix Saints beat both Crunch (6-3?) and Walser Red (by one) so by winning two out of three they apparently won the 19B pool play(?).Media wrote:Crunch and Walsner Red tied 3-3
With their win over the Jr. Whitecaps it appears that the Icecats won the 19A pool(?).
Don't know the U16 results but Team Illinois was very strong. In previous meetings they had beaten SSM's U16 team both times.

SSM TOURNAMENT RESULTS
SSM would like to thank all of the teams that competed in the tournment and congratulate the pool champions. It was a great weekend of intense competition that was observed by 30 college coaches and scouts. Best of luck to all of the girls in their upcoming or remaining seasons and we hope to see you next year!

CODP Fall Team
Does anyone know why CODP didn't enter into this tournament? They played in it last year....
CODP was trying to put together a group of 4 teams to play on the same weekend - it fell a part not sure why. For games the CODP fall team played the Thoroughbreds, Team Wisconsin and in the Ignite the Ice Tournament this fall (went 3-1). They did a lot of development, strength and sprint speed work practices/sessions. They did dryland with a Bantam age boys group and it seemed to motivate both groups - all the girls on the team seemed to advance - there were some very good '92 & '93 girls in the program as well as a few great older HS players.
